Hoak Media Corporation : ウィキペディア英語版
Hoak Media

Hoak Media Corporation was a broadcast media company based in Dallas, Texas. Hoak once owned eighteen television stations (including satellites), all in medium and small-markets, mostly in the Great Plains states and Colorado. Hoak Media was established in August 2003.
On November 20, 2013, Gray Television announced it was purchasing Hoak Media and Parker Broadcasting, excluding KREX (and its satellites), KFQX and WMBB (which cannot be sold to Gray as they already operate stations in the markets affected). Some of Hoak's stations will be sold to Excalibur Broadcasting and operated by Gray under local marketing agreements.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.tvnewscheck.com/article/72138/gray-buying-hoak-prime-stations-for-3425m )〕 On December 19, it was announced that KREX & WMBB will be sold to Nexstar Broadcasting Group, while KFQX will be sold to Mission Broadcasting.〔(Gray Sell Grand Junction Duop To Nexstar ), TVNewsCheck, 19 December 2013〕
The sale was completed on June 13, 2014. However, some stations were forced to go off the air and programming being move to a multicast stream on adjacent channels, due to some stations unable to receive regulatory approval, after FCC recent ruling on joint sales agreements. Those silent stations would then be sold off to minority interests.〔(Gray closes Hoak deal; completes refinancing. ), rbr.com, Retrieved 13 June 2014.〕〔(Press Release ) from Gray Television, 13 June 2014〕
